A man was taken to hospital with a serious head injury after being serously assaulted in a park late at night.
The man in his 30’s was walking through a park area near Heath Lane, Dartford, when he was attacked from behind.
The victim reported that he was approached by one or more people.
He suffered serious head injuries and was taken to hospital following the incident which happened between 11pm and midnight on Sunday April 9.
Detective constable, Martin Stevens, said: “An investigation is underway into the circumstances of the incident and inquiries have been completed by officers in the area.
“We are now urging witnesses or anybody with information to call our appeal line.
“Motorists with dashcam who were travelling along Heath Lane and Heathclose Road around the time of the incident, are also asked to check for footage that may assist.”
