Man falls from first-floor window of property in Priory Road, Dartford

A man was taken to hospital after falling from the first-floor window of a property in Dartford.

The incident took place at around 5am today in Priory Road.

The matter has been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPPC).

A police spokeswoman refused to go into the details of what took place but said the man was not "pushed".

She said: "It is a matter of course that when anyone has injuries of that nature the case gets referred to the IPCC."

Details of the man's injuries, and their seriousness, are not yet known but he was taken to King's College Hospital by air ambulance.
