A man was trapped for two hours in farm machinery.
Two fire engines, ambulance crews, a HEMS doctor and police attended Hook Green Road, Southfleet, last night to rescue the trapped worker.
Firefighters arrived at 8.10pm where they found the man with his leg stuck in a potato harvester.
He was freed by 9.25pm.
Four paramedic cars and an ambulance attended and the man, who is believed to be in his 20s, was treated at the scene.
He suffered substantial injuries to his leg and pelvis and was taken to Kings College Hospital, London, for further treatment.
He also suffered other more minor injuries, but was said to be fully conscious in the journey to hospital.
Crews used hydraulic rescue equipment and spreaders to cut him out of the machine.
