A man believed to frequently visit the Dartford area is wanted by police in connection with a fraud.
Police in Sutton wish to speak to the man after an 83 year old pensioner of Bedford Road, Worcester Park was scammed out of almost £5,000 last month.
He answered his door to a male caller on Friday November 6 at 3pm and was told his drains needed repairing at a cost of £4,800.
The caller gave the resident a lift to his bank in Sutton Town Centre and was asked not to say that the money was for building repair work, but rather that it was for a friend or relative.
The resident withdrew the full amount and gave the money to the caller, who left after driving the resident home and is yet to return.
