One of the best goalkeepers in the world has paid tribute to Jordan Dawes.
Manchester United's goalie, David De Gea, wrote a heart felt message on Twitter to the teenage goalie who died on Friday night after a long battle with cancer.
He wrote: "Rest in peace Jordan. I am sure you will keep on making saves up in heaven"
The football star had previously given Jordan a pair of gloves and a shirt.
Countless clubs also paid tribute to Jordan today by holding a minutes silence before their match kicked off.
Portsmouth Women's football club and Moneyfields FC both observed the silence this afternoon along with Crayford Arrows Girls Under 13's and Dansons Sports FC Girls Under 13's.
Crystal Palace Ladies Under 18's also paid their respects for the well-loved North Kent College student.
AFC Oddfellows Green held a minutes silence as well. They tweeted: "This week Jordan Dawes, a member of the oddfellows family, passed away. Our thoughts are with the Dawes family & friends of Jordan. Tomorrow we will hold a minutes silence before the game and raise a glass afterwards to remember and celebrate her life. Rest In Peace Jordan."
Saltdean Ladies was another team to hold a minutes silence. They wrote on Twitter: "Everyone at Saltdean Ladies FC sends their condolences to the family and friends of Jordan Dawes. Such tragic news for such a talented lady."
Jordan was diagnosed with cancer after suffering a stroke last year.
