A mental health patient has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder after two members of staff were stabbed at a mental health centre.
The 30-year-old man remains in police custody following an incident at the Bracton Centre in Dartford just before midday yesterday, which saw two male members of staff suffer knife wounds.
Both were were taken to King's College Hospital in London, with two air ambulances spotted taking off from nearby Bexley Park at just after 12.30pm. They are in a serious but stable condition.

The air ambulance mission reports reveal that one suffered injuries to his chest, stomach and upper arm, the other to his upper and lower arm, lower leg, chest and stomach.
A spokesman for the NHS Oxleas Foundation Trust, which runs the centre in Bracton Lane, said they were offering support to the families of both men.
They said: "Two of our members of staff sustained injuries during this incident. They are in hospital receiving treatment and we have been informed that they are in a serious but stable condition.

"We are offering support to patients and staff affected by the incident, and to the families of our two colleagues who were directly involved.
"A police investigation is underway and a patient from the Bracton Centre has been arrested.
"We are unable to provide further details at this time due to the ongoing police investigation."
No other suspects are being searched for as part of the investigation and officers insist that the incident posed no threat to the wider public.
One witness said some of the officers who attended the incident were armed.
She reported seeing a man being walked out of the centre "in his pants, handcuffed and surrounded by armed police".
Upon arrival at the centre in Bracton Lane, a small fire was also discovered. Three fire engines were called and the blaze was extinguished within half an hour. A pressure fan was used to clear the smoke.
