A businessman who made his first million aged 23 has gone undercover to invest his earnings in one of London's poorest areas.
Daniel Smith, 26, from Dartford joined his dad's second-hand furniture business aged just 15 and now boasts a portfolio of dozens of residential and commercial properties, along with a leading office furniture firm and storage business.
But when he started talking to a homeless girl in Soho after a Christmas party last year, his eyes were opened to life at the other end of the social spectrum.
In Channel 4's The Secret Millionaire he takes to London's deprived Elephant and Castle area to tackle homelessness and give money to deserving causes.
The programme is being screened tomorrow on Channel 4 at 9pm.
