Residents will be able to have their say on plans for more than 50 homes and a complex which will "become the focal point for social, cultural and community life" at a new development.
Henley Camland is to host a community drop-in event as part of feedback for The Hub and Parcel 4 in Ebbsfleet Garden City, Greenhithe.
The site is located in Whitecliffe - one of the main plots forming the garden city project, with 6,250 of the 15,000 proposed homes being built there.
It was granted planning approval 15 years ago to be developed into a new mixed-use community including homes, green space and new leisure, retail and commercial facilities.
Formerly known as Eastern Quarry, Whitecliffe is based around three villages known as Ashmere, Alkerden and Castle Hill.
The latest step in the development's plans is to build properties in Alkerden known as Parcel 4.
Proposed by developers, Chartway Partnerships Group, and registered provider, Moat Homes, it will consist of 55 affordable shared-ownership apartments.
Meanwhile, the plans also feature a proposal for a complex called The Hub.
This is set to feature multi-use spaces including a learning centre, health facility and plaza to ensure there is a number of facilities to meet the needs of future homeowners nearby.
Henley Camland is to host the drop-in event at Castle Hill Community Centre tomorrow (Monday, March 25) from 2pm until 5.45pm.
The company hopes this will give people the opportunity to see the ongoing plans and its designs, as well as being able to speak with members of the project team.
People will also be able to comment on various elements relating to the housing provision including private amenities, sustainability features and landscaping.
Once the session concludes, a planning application will be sent to Gravesham council for The Hub in April.
A second submission will then be made for Parcel 4 in May.
Developers hope approval will be given in the autumn for both projects.
According to the project’s brand agency, Pillory Barn the new apartments will be designed to respond to the surroundings.
It will include private parking for new residents, together with a private external amenity space including a central landscaped courtyard, and easy pedestrian links to the surrounding Major Urban Park, Alkerden Barn and the Fastrack bus corridor.
The vision for The Hub is for it to become the focal point for social, cultural and community life in Whitecliffe.
Last month, Ebbsfleet Garden City saw its 4,000th home completed.
The remaining 11,000 homes are due to be built throughout the coming years ahead of the project’s completion in 2035.
