A MOTORCYCLIST is still in hospital after being involved in a road traffic collision on the A2 at the weekend.

The man, who is said to be in a stable condition, was taken to Darent Valley Hospital with life threatening injuries following the incident at around 4.30pm on Friday.

Police closed off the coastbound carriageway of the A2 at Dartford between the junction with the A2018, and the M25 turn-off on Friday night while they dealt with the incident.
