An investigation is underway after a motorist crashed a vehicle into three parked cars before fleeing.

Police were called to Louvain Road, Greenhithe following reports of a multi-car crash.

Neighbours reported hearing a "loud crashing noise".

Officers attended the scene shortly after 10.40pm where a car is reported to have ploughed into three stationary vehicles at speed.

The driver had left prior to their arrival.

An investigation is now underway into the circumstances of the incident and efforts are being made to trace the motorist.
