Coconut shys, lucky dips, and hook-a-duck are the normal staples of a village fete.

But people are set to be amazed when a movie stunt group perform at a fete in Stone on Sunday, July 1.

And Stone Parish Council have released an unusual hi-octane video called Stone Fete The Movie to promote the event.

People will also be able to take part in more traditional activities such as entering their prized pooch into a dog show. There will also be a range of live bands including the Tarantinos and a Blues Brothers tribute band, as well as a traditional fun fair. Youngsters will also be able to have a go at trampolining.

The event in Stone Recreation Ground off London Road starts at noon and finishes at 7pm.
