A woman - believed to be pregnant - was mugged by two teenagers when she opened the front door.
At 6.05pm yesterday police were called to Church Road, Swanscombe, to a report of the robbery.
The victim was staying at a friend’s house in the road and had jewellery snatched from her throat when she answered a knock at the door.
Two teenagers, a girl and a boy, asked to speak to a person not living at that address.
They were told that person does not live there so left - but returned moments later.
The woman answered the door for a second time and the woman tried to push past her while the man grabbed a chain from the victim’s neck, before both ran from the house.
No injuries were reported, and police enquiries are ongoing.
