A mother-of-two has saved the lives of four people by donating her organs.
Krystal Emily Ann, from Dartford, was severely ill and left needing a kidney and pancreas transplant due to diabetes.
The "lively and fiery" mother died on Sunday, July 14, after suddenly collapsing two days before.
Following her death, her liver was given to two children, while her heart and lungs were gifted to two men.
She leaves behind her sons Tyler, 16, and Leighton, five, as well as her mother Denise Day, 52, who was her best friend.
The 32-year-old was described by friend Jaki Karrata, 52, as an “amazing woman”.
The NHS worker added: “She was lively, and fiery. If she came into a room you would know she was there.
“Krystal was always up for a laugh and was really popular with other parents at West Hill Primary school.
“She was so outgoing and friendly, and amazing mum to Tyler and Leighton.
“Even though she was on a dialysis, she went to her sons' sports day two days before she died and took them to the fair the night before she died.
“She had even planned a holiday for them to all go away, even with her dialysis. The family are devastated, they just want her to come back through the door.”
A GoFundMe page has been set up for the family to help cover costs for Krsytal’s funeral. So far, more than £5,000 has been raised.
Set up by Ms Karrata, who wrote on the page: “She was an amazing mother to Tyler and Leighton and if they inherit her strength and zest for living life to the full they will be truly blessed.
“For Denise, her mum, this is the hardest thing anyone should go through she was her mum and best friend and our love, hearts and prayers are with you all.
“We we are asking for donations to help with the inevitable costs they are going to face with funeral costs and funds for Tyler and Leighton as they adjust to having to be cared for by their family.”
