A mum who set out to entertain her family has gained herself a 'fan club' of children and adults alike.
Donna Dorbon decided to make use of the fancy dress costumes she had and get herself decked out as children's favourites including Peppa Pig and Minions for her daily walk around Belvedere.
Getting her five-year-old daughter Daniella and husband Mark in on the act, the family have gained themselves some adoring fans who await their passage through the neighbourhood.
Donna, of Halifield Drive, said: "It was just something to entertain my five year old.
"My family all live quite close to each other and I thought I would go to my sisters and see my nieces but on the way, I got quite a fan club.
"People were shouting, 'Mickey!'. I thought, why not make the best of a sad situation."
Donna and Daniella now take their daily walks in costume, waving at children through their windows, which has got them recognition on Facebook by mums who say it makes their children's days.
The costumes were brought for the George Mead Memorial Stables in Welling where Donna helps out with children's parties.
The mum-of-one added: "A lot of people have asked if I am doing it for charity but I am doing it out of goodness, I just want to raise a smile in bad times.
"I said to them if you want to donate, please give it to the NHS because they are doing such a brilliant job and a little goes a long way.
"My five-year-old wakes up and says: 'What are we going as today?'
"It's making me smile as much as everyone else.
"I have had such a good response from people I don't know taking pictures. It's just a bit of a distraction from the doom and gloom."
