A teenager has been charged with murder after a young man was stabbed to death in an alleyway.
Officers were called to Suffolk Road, Dartford, at around 9pm on Friday, April 14, where an 18-year-old was found dead.
A murder investigation was launched and two men were arrested in Gillingham the following morning on suspicion of murder.
On Monday Chris Enaruba, 19, of Beaconsfield Road, Greater London, was charged with murder.
He appeared today at Medway Magistrates' and was remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on May 16.
The second man, who is also 19 and from London, has been bailed until Monday, July 10, while the investigation continues.
A police spokesman said: "Any witnesses who have not yet spoken to officers should call Kent Police on 01474 366149, quoting reference 46/68778/23."
Yesterday, flowers and other tributes, including heart-shaped balloons, candles and notes were left inside the alleyway where the young man died.
Cardboard signs reading "RIP young man", tea lights, and bottles are among tributes placed at the scene.
One handwritten tribute read: "Rest in the most beautiful paradise, we'll see you soon bro."
Another said: "My little bro, I can't believe it man, you're gonna be remembered by so many people, your jokes, presence, everything's gonna be missed."
