A 21-year-old student has appeared at Maidstone Crown Court accused of the murder of consultant paediatrician Dr Victoria Anyetei.

David Quartey, of Humber Road, Dartford, was on Friday remanded in custody until December 7 when he will enter a plea to the charge.

Dr Anyetei, 54, was found stabbed in her car outside her home in Teynham Road, Dartford, on August 14.
