Neighbours were celebrating winning a share of £3 million on the People's Postcode Lottery.
TV presenter Jeff Brazier and Danyl Johnson of The X Factor fame descended on Phillips Close, Dartford, to hand the lucky winners their cheques on Friday.
Seven neighbours scooped £181,655, and one grabbed £363,310 as they had two tickets.
For Kerry Ferguson, 34, the timing couldn't have been better as she is due to have her second child in nine days time.
She was in the process of moving out of the house on the same day that the People's Postcode Lottery came to visit, and was relieved she hadn't changed postcodes yet.
She said: "This is life changing. We had to borrow money from my family to help us move to a bigger house, so now we can pay them back.
"I’ve been on minimum wage since going part time with my daughter, and now I can go on maternity leave and not have to worry about money.
"I think we are going to get a new car and get rid of the old 51 plate rust bucket that we have now.
"I want something safe to drive the kids in."
Other winners Rebecca and Rob Young where thrilled with the win as Rob recently got made redundant.
Rob, who has an autistic son, plans to spend the money on training as a care support worker.
He said: "Never in a million years did we ever think we’d this amount of money. I feel like I’m going to wake up in a minute.
"It’s exciting and a bit overwhelming but right away I started to think about what this will let us do and how it’s going to change our lives."
The £3 million prize pot was shared out between 495 players throughout the DA1 3 postcode, and the minimum amount won this time around was £2,786 per ticket.
Jeff Brazier said: “We had an amazing day in Dartford and kicked off the weekend in style for our winners.
"It’s amazing to be able to knock on someone’s door, give them that cheque, and see the difference that win can make to their lives."
