A group of netball teams have raised more than £1,000 for a mental health charity.
The Whiteoak Netball League in Swanley held a netball rally on September 5 to raise money for MIND, which supports people struggling with mental health illnesses.
The team's committee decided they wanted to give back to the local community by bringing their members together for a family fun tournament after lockdown and raise as much money as they could for a worthwhile cause.
They hosted a raffle with prizes donated by members which included two tickets The View from The Shard and a dog groom voucher from The Spa Pamper and Groom in Dartford amongst others.
Whiteoak also held a cake sale alongside to raise more funds for their cause.
The day raised a total of £1,266.50.
MIND is a charity which provides advice and support for people with mental health disorders of all ages, genders and backgrounds.
Whiteoak Netball League started in 1978 and is affiliated with England netball. They encourage anyone who is interested in joining to contact them at https://www.facebook.com/white.oaknetballleague.
