Long-running nightclub Air and Breathe will host a final farewell party next month before closing to make way for another club.
The venue on Essex Road in Dartford will say goodbye on Saturday, October 13 to make way for ATIK.
The revamped venue will open two weeks later on Friday, October 26 following investment by the Deltic Group, one of the UK's leading operator of bars and clubs.
The revamp is the latest in a series of new leases of life given to the venue over the years.
To many the venue is still known as Zen's, although it dropped the name in the early 2000s.
Club goers in the 1980s will remember the venue when it was known as as Flicks.
Under its latest guise, the night spot will change dramatically from a two room venue to three distinct rooms.
One room will showcase light and sound technology.
The second called Vinyl, will have an illuminated dance floor, dozens of glitter balls and play guilty pleasures and pop classic.
The third room, called Curve, is a new room that will feature DJs playing the latest RnB chart hits.
Groups and parties will be catered for with 16 pre-bookable, VIP booths with table service from a team of hosts throughout the night.
In disco themed Vinyl, a number of VIP areas will have their own private flashing dance floor.
General manager Jordan Craine said: “Air and Breathe has been a big part of the town’s nightlife for a long time but it’s time to bring something new to Dartford.
"We’re really excited to open as ATIK and offer the very best clubbing experience that we can.
“We’re remaining open until 13 October so we want people to come along and enjoy the venue before we transform the place and reopen.
"We can’t wait to deliver a fantastic venue and night outs for existing and new customers.
"We’re looking forward to welcoming special guests from international DJs to well known TV stars over future nights and can’t wait to reveal our opening weekend line-up soon!”
The club is recruiting for 30 full and part-time positions, from bar staff to hospitality and sales assistants.
