With just a matter of days to go until Bluewater's Gatorade 10k, our reporters have been limbering up to show they're not just good with words.
Reporters Mary Graham, Jamie Bullen (pictured) and editor Bob Bounds are among 13 KM Group employees taking part in either the 2k or 10k runs through Bluewater's grounds on Sunday, June 5.
KM group chairman Geraldine Allinson will also be getting out her running shoes to raise money for the Messenger's charity of the year, DGSM yourChoice, as well as the Dartford and Crayford Sea Cadets.
Last year more than £25,000 was raised by Bluewater runners.
Jamie, 22, said: "I can't say my training is going that well so far.
"I ate a lot of rubbish at the weekend but I have been doing a bit more running than usual and the thing that counts is that we raise lots of money for good causes.
"I'm especially pleased that we're able to raise funds for as great a charity as DGSM yourChoice.
"I don't mind where I finish but I will be looking to beat Mary and Bob for bragging rights in the office."
Bob (pictured right) added: "I'm really looking forward to what should be a great event."
Geraldine, who runs with her two dogs first thing in the morning, said: "Entering the Bluewater 10k is a huge leap for me.
"I took to running about two years ago in order to get fit and try to bring my weight under control.
"The last six weeks have been all about trying to increase my speed, stamina and distance."
The 10k starts at 8.30am and will take runners through the Bluewater grounds into Greenhithe and Stone before returning to the shopping centre.
There will also be a 2k run for children and families started by Captain Jim from the Pirate Cove Adventure Golf Park.
