Olympic hero Jason Kenny is coming to Brands Hatch twice in the space of a few weeks.
This weekend, the gold medallist will swap two wheels for four when he takes to the wheel of a Radical SR3 RSX in the Radical Challenge Championship on the full Grand Prix circuit on Saturday, August 27 and Sunday, August 28.
A few weeks later, the inspirational cyclist – who claimed a British record-equalling sixth gold medal in Rio – will be back at the circuit for Revolve24 on Saturday, September 10 and Sunday, September 11.
Revolve24 is a range of cycling challenges to suit all ages and abilities, headlined by a 24 hour race featuring pro teams HR Owen Maserati RT and Team Baum.
Kenny said: “Brands Hatch is the best course for this event as you don’t have any of the dangers of the road.
“It has a lot of interesting undulations, especially as you get out into the forest.
“It’ll be a real challenge for people as they ride through the night, lighting their own way.”
The event was launched with great success last year and also boasts a six hour relay and - new for 2016 - a 12 hour Dusk ‘til Dawn challenge.

Also new for 2016 will be a British Cycling One Day Men and Women’s Omnium on the Saturday.
This will consist of an Individual Time Trial on the GP circuit, a Criterium of 24 minutes plus two laps around the Indy Circuit and a two hour road race on the GP circuit.
Solo riders can take part, as well as duos and teams of four, six and eight.
Brands Hatch’s Grand Prix circuit formed much of the Paralympic Games road cycling route in 2012, for which it earned rave reviews.
Entry fees for Revolve24 start at £30 and include track time, professional timing system with live race tracking, British Cycling Insurance, shared use of a pit garage, two nights’ camping and parking, 24 hour access to tea, coffee, water and snacks, plus shower facilities, WIFI and charging points.
Brands Hatch fans will also receive a 15% discount off their entry fee by using the promo code BRANDS15 until midnight Friday, September 2.
Access to the venue for spectators is free, and camping is also available for those wanting to stay overnight.
For the moment, Kenny’s thoughts will be turning towards this weekend’s motor race. He began racing in the Ginetta GT5 Challenge after his London 2012 success and has since made appearances in the Radical European Masters in 2014.
The Radical Challenge Championship comprises a series of sprint and endurance races. There are two 20-minute Radical Challenge races on Saturday and a 40-minute race with a pitstop on Sunday.
The races are part of the supporting programme for the Lotus Festival, which includes Formula 1 car demonstrations and Lotus-themed racing and displays.
Tickets for the Lotus Festival at Brands Hatch are available in advance from £10, with free entry for under-13s. For more information call 0843 453 9000 or visit www.brandshatch.co.uk. For more information on the cycling, visit revolve24.com.
