Two people were hospitalised after they hit by a car this afternoon.

The incident happened just after 3pm in London Road, Northfleet.

A spokesman for Kent Police said the pair suffered minor injuries and were now receiving treatment.

He added: "The male driver of the vehicle has been spoken to and enquiries are ongoing."

London Road was closed for almost an hour following the collision.
