CCTV released after pensioner assaulted and robbed near Main Road, Longfield

A pensioner suffered scratches after being robbed in his own home by two men.

The incident happened near Main Road, Longfield between 8.45am and 9am on Monday, July 22.

The victim, a man in his 70s, answered a knock on the door and found two men outside his home.

He was then allegedly assaulted and the men left with a watch and cash after searching his property.

Now, detectives have published two CCTV images of people who may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Detective Constable Dan Bister said: “The victim suffered scratches during the incident and, as part of our investigation, we have been reviewing CCTV in the area.

“We are now able to issue images of two men who may be able to assist with our enquiries. Anyone who recognises them should call our appeal line.”
