Person treated after house fire in Bean, Dartford

Fire crews were called to tackle a house blaze in the early hours of this morning.

Two engines were sent to High Street, Bean, in Dartford, after the alarm was raised shortly before 4.20am.

Firefighters wearing specialist breathing gear used hoses to extinguish the flames.

One person suffering from smoke inhalation was passed to paramedics to be treated.

The cause of the fire, which was put out by 5am, is believed to have been accidental.
