Hundreds turned out in the sunshine for a rugby club's annual fun day at Leigh Academy in Dartford.
Organised by Dartford Valley Rugby Football Club, it was the third event to celebrate the anniversary of its youth academy.
While family activities were the order of the day, rugby played a large part of the programme in the grounds of the school in Green Road.
Members of the academy showed of their skills at a training session which was followed by a mixed touch tournament.
Gavin Drummond, the club's press officer, said there were now 150 youngsters, aged between three and 16, with an increasing number of girls.
He said : "We put this on because we feel we are an important part of the community. We focus on rugby, but we encourage all young people to take up sport. The important thing is to keep active."
Attractions included a bouncy castle, climbing wall, a photo booth, coconut shy and a range of stalls. There was also a mobile bar and hot food available.
The club is looking forward to moving to its new home on the Stone Lodge site. Designs for the clubhouse have been drawn up and the new facility, which is part of a sports hub, could be open by the end of the year.
