A bearded attacker who stabbed a man is being hunted by detectives.
The incident, described by police as a "serious assault", happened outside the Flying Boat pub, in Spital Street, Dartford, yesterday (Saturday) at around 4.45pm.
The victim was approached as he was drinking in a seated area at the front of the pub.
He was then assaulted, leaving him with a number of injuries, consistent with being stabbed.
He was treated by ambulance staff at the scene and then taken to a London hospital, where he is now recovering.
Detectives have this afternoon issued a description of someone they would like to question.
The suspect is described as being of mixed race, possibly in his late 30s. He was around 6ft and had a beard.
Police said officers were continuing to make a number of inquiries, including checking for any forensic evidence and possible CCTV.
