A road has been taped off by armed police this afternoon.
There is a cordon in place in Dartford Road, in the West Hill area of Dartford, between the Harvester Rising Sun pub up to the bus stop near West Hill primary school.

Earlier today, around eight police vehicles were joined by ambulances and the air ambulance, but this has since been reduced to three police cars.
Our reporter at the scene Sean Delaney said: "One police officer is standing outside a terraced property in Dartford Road, near the junction with Marlborough Road.
"A team of officers with clipboards were spotted nearby and one of the police cars is blocking off Marlborough Road.
"Vehicles are being diverted along Devonshire Avenue.
"Two workmen in the area said the cordon had been in place since around 12.30pm, but they hadn't seen anything."
Owner of the Dartford Convenience Store, Sri said: "I heard several police cars and sirens and the helicopter circling above about 11.30am.
"I didn't see what happened but I saw an ambulance outside as well near Marlborough Road."
One witness, who didn't want to be named, was at the scene at the height of the incident said it was "crazy".
She said: "There were loads of police there, many armed and probably well in excess of eight cars, plus ambulances.

"A police helicopter was overhead and an air ambulance landed in a school nearby.
"Local residents were not allowed back into their houses for hours."
There were traffic delays around the town centre, possibly as a result of the diversion.
Youngsters were also asking police for directions, as their usual route home from school was closed off.
Kent Police spokesman James Walker said: "Kent Police was called at 12.06pm to a report of a disturbance at a private address in Dartford Road, Dartford.
"Officers, including armed patrols, attended the address alongside South East Coast Ambulance Service and Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance.
"Enquiries at the scene remain ongoing."
