Woman to face no charge as police drop murder probe into death of 32-year-old at Homefield Farm

A woman who was arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was discovered dead on a farm will not face any charges.

Officers were called to Homefield Farm Road in Sutton-at-Hone, near Dartford, last month where a 32-year-old man was found injured inside a property.

Police attended shortly after 10pm on January 16 where a man was declared dead at the scene.

Cordons had been placed around rows of mobile units which are reportedly used to house seasonal fruit pickers.

Officers arrested two men, both aged 30, and a 38-year-old woman at the address on suspicion of murder.

Both men were later released without charge while inquiries continued into the "unexplained" death.

The 38-year-old woman who was arrested was bailed until February 11 pending further inquiries.

But police have now confirmed the woman will not face any charges and the criminal case has been closed.
