A supermarket reopened this morning after being shut for more than a month for a revamp.
Aldi in St Mary’s Road, Swanley, closed on May 13.
The new-look store, which opened at 8am, has a section dedicated to fresh meat and fish, as well as Lacura health and beauty products.
The 927 sq m of retail space now offers a new range of beers, wines and spirits, and has a new Food to Go section with fresh salads, sandwiches and sushi on offer.
The fresh bread and cakes have been moved to the last aisle to prevent them from getting squashed under customers’ shopping.
The transformation is part of the supermarket’s £600 million investment into further improving its stores and services across the UK.
Aldi store manager Claire Moughton-Mann said: “The store is looking fantastic, and we can’t wait to welcome our loyal customers back so they can see it for themselves.
“We’re committed to making sure that the shopping experience each customer enjoys in our stores is on a par with the products and service they’re used to.”
