Fire in Irving Walk, Swanscombe

Fire crews were called to a blaze in Swanscombe last night.

Flames were reported in Irving Walk just after 11pm and it took three crews until almost 1am before the fire was out and they were able to leave the scene.

No-one was injured.

Firefighters had to use breathing apparatus while tackling the flames with hose reel jets.

The cause of the blaze is unknown and Kent Fire and Rescue Service's fire investigation team will be trying to find an answer.
