A school has released its first virtual Christmas Concert online to bring festive joy to others.

Dartford Grammar School pupils got together for the festive celebration and recorded it so as many people as possible could see it.

The concert includes a performance of The Coventry Carol by the sixth form vocal group, recorded under Covid restrictions in the foyer of the Mick Jagger Centre and described as "spine-tingling".

Jill Hawkins, development officer at Dartford Grammar School, said: "We have today uploaded our first virtual Christmas Concert so that we can still showcase our talented students as we normally would at the festive season.

"Do please share if you can – it would be lovely to bring a little festive peace and enjoyment to Dartford in these challenging times."
