Delays are starting to clear after police dealt with an incident on the QEII bridge.

The right hand tunnel was closed earlier to allow clockwise traffic to divert through the tunnel.

All lanes are now open.

An Essex Police spokesman said earlier : "We are currently on the scene of an incident at the QEII bridge.

"We were called just after 4.05pm today, July 18, to concerns for the welfare of a woman."
