A woman had to be freed from a car after a crash.

The accident happened on the A225 Hawley Road, in Dartford, just before 8am today.

It involved two cars and the fire service had to stabilise one of the cars before they could free the woman.

The Highways Agency is reporting that the road is currently closed in both directions between Powder Mill Lane and Shirehall Road.
