A road was closed for four hours after a double decker bus collided with a railway bridge.
Police were called to Overy Street, Dartford, at around 9.40pm after the large red Arriva vehicle was damaged in the accident.
The roof of the bus was torn off as it tried to make its way through the arches on the road.
Metal debris and shattered glass windows were left scattered on the floor.
Luckily, no injuries were reported, but the road was closed while arrangements were made to recover the vehicle.
It eventually reopened at around 1.45am this morning.
Network Rail was made aware of the incident.
They have been approached for further information.
