A driver has died after a head-on crash with a lorry.

The fatal accident involving an articulated lorry and an Audi happened in Green Street Green Road, Dartford at 2.40pm yesterday.

Emergency services were called and the driver of the Audi was pronounced dead at the scene.

The lorry driver was shocked but not injured.

The road remains closed between Princes Road and Gore Road this morning, and police said it was likely to stay shut until mid morning while the road is resurfaced.
