Two men wielding a hammer and a traffic cone were caught on camera brawling in the street in a bizarre road rage row.
Marketing director Charlie Bridle from Dartford, captured the chaos from an office building on his iPhone.
It shows a furious driver in a red Ford Fiesta ram into the back of a black Audi twice.
He then reverses up Brunel Way, Dartford, circles round the roundabout and narrowly misses the Audi driver, who is on foot and armed with a hammer.
The video then shows the Audi driver smash the Fiesta's windscreen with the hammer, prompting the driver to get out of his vehicle.
He picks up a traffic cone which he brandishes as a weapon and used to hit the Audi driver.
The pair begin to brawl, but as they blows are dealt, the Fiesta driver falls and the Audi driver catches him with the hammer as he staggers back up to his feet.
By this point a number of people have seen the incident and the pair are surrounded by on lookers who start to intervene.
Mr Bridle, 23, said: “I’ve never seen anything like this before – it was crazy.
“I thought that if the guy with the hammer had hit him on the head it would have been game over.
“I saw the cars swerving and driving erratically at first. I decided to start recording as I know stuff like this can go viral.
“They looked like they were trying to kill each other. I didn’t see what started it all off but the road is right near a dual carriageway – they must have cut each other up.
“I couldn’t believe it when, about 30 seconds in, he chucks a hammer at him. I was just shocked – I still can’t believe it watching it back.”
Charlie was chatting with a colleague in the office stairwell at The Nucleus when he noticed the commotion outside, back in July.
The footage has only this morning been re-shared on social media and now has more than 20,000 views.
During the two-minute video Charlie and a colleague can be heard gasping as the Fiesta driver appears to almost mow down the Audi driver, who at that point was on foot.
Charlie comments, saying: “What’s he got there? A hammer.
“Did you see that? He just smashed his windscreen.
“Don’t hit him with that hammer, he’ll kill him.”
A Kent Police spokesman said: "There is insufficient information from the video to establish if this incident was reported at the time or not.
"Anyone who wishes to report an offence can do so by contacting Kent Police on 101."
Commenting on the YouTube video Joe Yeates said: "Thought the bridge estate was decent lol."
'Mark Mark' added: "Makes you proud to come from dirtford."
