Northern slip road between A225 and Frank’s Lane in Horton Kirby closed for up to seven days for clearance and investigation work after fly-tipping

A slip road is closed for clearance and investigation works after a huge pile of fly-tipped waste was discovered.

The northern slip road between the A225 and Frank’s Lane in Horton Kirby shut yesterday (March 16) and is set to be closed for up to seven days.

Road closure signs are in place while work is underway to clear the piles of rubbish.

A diversion for commuters is now in place via the A225 London Road, Farningham and Frank’s Lane.

Clearance works by Kent Highways are expected to be completed by 7pm on March 22.
