Dartford's greatest exports will paint the Saatchi Gallery black in a new exhibition dedicated to The Rolling Stones.
Exhibitionism is the band’s first major exhibition, promising a comprehensive insight into the famous rock band.
Fans can look forward to immersing themselves in nine galleries spread across two floors of the London gallery, featuring more than 500 unseen artefacts from the Stones’ personal archive, including their early days.
Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, who famously started the band following a chance meeting at Dartford station in 1960, are both excited to see the exhibition open.
“We’ve been thinking about this for quite a long time but we wanted it to be just right and on a large scale,” said Jagger.
“The process has been like planning our touring concert productions and I think that right now it’s an interesting time to do it.”

Richards said: “While this is about The Rolling Stones, it’s not necessarily only just about the members of the band.
“It’s also about all the paraphernalia and technology associated with a group like us, and it’s this, as well as the instruments that have passed through our hands over the years, that should make the exhibition really interesting.”
Exhibitionism is said to be the largest touring experience of its kind to be staged by a band or artist, finally opening after three years of planning.
Among the exhibits are original stage designs, dressing room and backstage paraphernalia, rare guitars and instruments, iconic costumes and more.
Film director Martin Scorsese and artist Andy Warhol are some of the famous faces to have helped bring the exhibition to life.
It opens to the public on Tuesday, April 5, and tickets are on sale at stonesexhibitionism.com.
