Residents were forced to flee their house after a fire broke out in the roof space.
Firefighters and paramedics were called to Ashen Drive, Dartford, yesterday evening.
Three fire engines were sent to the scene at 5.48pm and crews wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets and main jets to tackle the flames.
Part of the roof of the two-storey home was cut away to gain access to the blaze.
Crews used a height vehicle to extinguish the fire from a good vantage point.
There were no reported injuries at the scene and the cause of the fire is not known at this time.
A stop time of 7.46pm was recorded.
