Footage has emerged of a row between two commuters on a train from Dartford to London where one was reportedly called a 'white idiot'.

The video, which was originally posted on the Dartford Rail Travellers Association Facebook group earlier this week, shows the confrontation between a woman and a man.

It is thought the man had asked the woman to move her muddy feet.

The woman then repeatedly calls the fellow traveller "an idiot" before saying "I'll f****ng slap you" and "that's why you're not married, you idiot".

The man then points to his wedding ring.

A further confrontation then goes on in the clip which lasts for little under two minutes.

During attempts to explain his position the man appears to say he does not want his suit trousers to get muddy and asks the woman to remove her "muddy feet" from his seat.

The woman then points out that her foot is by his groin.

In other parts of the same video posted online she then reaches for her phone and appears to start filming the man before saying "so I get on the train and this white idiot is sitting on the train".

The man calls her out as racist before she appears to retract the "white idiot" in favour of "idiot".
