There were rush-hour delays on the M25 this morning after an accident.

Three lanes were closed on the clockwise-bound side of the motorway after a crash just before junction 3 near Swanley with the M20/ A20 (Swanley Interchange).

Congestion tailed back to J2, the A2 Darenth Interchange, with initially only one lane open.

However, the road has now cleared.

There were no reports of any injuries.
