A new homes salesman earned his racing stripes after scooping first place at a go-karting event.
Jason Humphreys took his place on the starting track at the annual Bayford Meadows Super Pro Championship in Sittingbourne last month.
The sales executive was representing housebuilder Taylor Wimpey who he works for at their Waterside at Castle Hill development in Ebbsfleet Garden City and achieved first place.
He was able to enter the competition with a brand new kit, go-kart graphics and race licence thanks to a generous sponsorship from his employer.
Commenting on the support he received, Jason said: “It was great to enter the competition and represent the company that I work for.
"The sponsorship not only highlighted that Taylor Wimpey supports my passion but it allowed me to enter with new kart graphics and a new crash helmet.
"I was thrilled to lift the first place trophy which wouldn’t have been possible without the kind sponsorship.”
Jason Stokes, sales and marketing director at Taylor Wimpey South East, said: “We are so pleased to have been able to support Jason with his entry to the competition.
"We feel it is important as a company to support our employees in and out of their day to day work and we would like to congratulate Jason on his great achievement.”
