A primary school has warned parents to be on their guard after a man approached a mum and her child and followed them.

The pair said they were approached in Attlee Drive by a man who asked for help with his phone.

He then followed them as they tried to leave.

The school issued the warning earlier today, posting on Facebook to alert parents.

Police have been informed and are thought to be investigating.
