Traffic on A2 near Bexley due to oil spillage

A section of the A2 was closed on the coastbound carriageway after an oil spillage.

It happened between Bexley and the M25 Junction 2 for Darenth.

National Highways contractors attended to assist with the clear-up works.

A spokesperson has conformed the road has now reopened and delays have started to ease.

People are still being advised to allow extra time for their journeys.
