Both floors of a two-storey house suffered significant damage after a fire broke out in the early hours of this morning.
Three fire engines - two from Dartford and one from Swanscombe - were called to the property in London Road, Greenhithe at 4.30am and battled to extinguish the blaze from the outside.
One of the ground floor windows had already broken upon their arrival and around half of that floor was damaged by the flames.
A spokesman for Kent Fire and Rescue Service said that approximately 30% of the entire property had been damaged.
Crews used breathing apparatus while they searched the house but nobody was found. Crews left the scene at around 6.15am.
An investigation is underway to determine the cause.
