A slip road has reopened after a driver was seriously hurt when a lorry overturned on a motorway.
There were severe delays after the collision and fuel spillage, which blocked the M25 anticlockwise exit slip road at Junction 2 for the A2, at the Darenth interchange since 11am.
The overturned lorry has now been removed. Emergency resurfacing repairs were carried out overnight and are now complete.
The south-west side of the roundabout onto the A2 London-bound was closed but access for vehicles has since been reinstated.
All lanes have now re-opened.
Police were called to the scene at 10.46am with National Highways also present.
Three fire engines and the technical rescue unit attended, and firefighters used hydraulic equipment to release the driver of the vehicle, who was taken to a London hospital to be treated for serious injuries.
Traffic is still slow but all routes are now open.
