A person suffered burns when a barbecue got out of control and caused a shed fire.
Fire crews were called to Riverside Wharf, a complex of flats in Dartford, around 6.30pm last night.
The fire service said one person suffered minor burns and was then treated by paramedics from South East Coast Ambulance Service.
It is believed the shed blaze started accidentally after spreading from a barbecue.
Firefighters are reminding everyone who plans to have a barbecue to always take extra precautions, and to light them well away from any sheds, property, foliage and fences.
Further advice includes never leave them unattended, and ensuring it is in good working order before use.
The incident comes as the easing of lockdown restrictions allows groups of up to six people, or two full households, to meet outdoors including in parks and private gardens.
