Charlton Athletic enhanced their League 1 title chances with a superb victory at promotion rivals Sheffield United on Saturday.
Two goals in three minutes after the break at Bramall Lane were enough to take the Addicks five points clear at the top of the table after a surprise defeat for Preston North End at Leyton Orient.
Substitute Yann Kermorgant opened the scoring seconds after being brought on by boss Chris Powell, the Frenchman heading home Dale Stephens' fine corner with his first touch on 64 minutes.
Three minutes later Bradley Wright-Phillips (pictured) netted his seventh goal of the season. He pounced on a mistake from Neill Collins and burst through to slot in at the second attempt after his initial effort was saved by Steve Simonsen.
The Blades keeper went on to produce a fine save from a free-kick to prevent Kermorgant making it 3-0.
At the other end Ben Hamer kept Charlton's lead intact with a fine late save from Richard Cresswell, while Ched Evans rattled the visitors' woodwork in stoppage-time.
