A woman was held up at gunpoint on her own doorstep by a gang of men and one was wearing a skull mask.
The horrifying incident in Dartford on Saturday night is now being investigated by police.
Officers attended the house in Olive Road shortly after 10pm to reports a victim had been threatened with a "long-barrelled weapon".
Witnesses are now being urged to help police with their inquiries into the incident.
Six men, all unknown to the woman, arrived at the property and she told police she was threatened when she opened her front door.
The group then left the scene and the woman was not injured.
Police say one of the suspects was wearing a red bodywarmer while another had a synthetic skull mask covering half of his face.
DS Michael Champion of the North Kent crime investigation department, said: "We want to reassure the public that we are following every line of inquiry that we can, including a full review of CCTV in the area and witness appeals from local residents.
"We are, however, keen to speak to anyone who thinks they might have any information that can help our inquiries.
"We also urge those who were in this area of Dartford at the time who may have seen anything that may assist the investigation to get in touch."
