Those hoping to take to the air at Britain's only outdoor Skydive Machine will have to wait a bit longer.
The attraction run by Hangloose Adventure at the Bluewater Shopping Centre near Dartford was due to reopen on February 12 after closure for the winter months.
But now the reopening has been delayed until March 31.
The attraction, which lifts customers on a current of air, had opened initially last summer, but had been powered then using a generator.
The company decided to use the winter closure to switch to a mains electric motor, but that involved the installation of a new substation, which overran.
A spokesman said the substation was now in place but there were still a few operational issues to sort out.
All customers who had pre-booked a session between February 12 and April 1 have been contacted and asked to re-book for a later date.
The company is offering them a free media pack of videos or photographs of themselves enjoying the event, worth £15, by way of compensation.
The firm said: "We are sorry for any frustration this has caused."
The company's zipwire attraction and its giant swing ride. also at Bluewater, continue to operate as normal.
Bookings can be made on 01285 640600 from January 13 onwards.
